I'm Sorry Posted: 08-07-03 00:38am
Hey, i'm really sorry about that. I
didn't mean to offend you. I got that
from a movie actually called rent-a-kid.
It's a comedy wherein a couple wants to
adopt but not too sure about the
decision.
Again, i'm really very sorry. Please
forgive me. I get sad when I
accidentally offend somebody.

Thank you for your apology, I accept it.
I'm sorry to, but that is just a very
touchy subject for me. Again, I am very
sorry.

Hi, my husband and I can't have one of our
own because I had to have an emergency
hysterectomy. I have two boys, ages 14
&15 but now I would love to have
another one. So that is why I am looking
to adopt a baby. I feel that if you gave
me your baby, and I cared for it and
nurtured it and half way raised it, that
it would not be fair for you to get it
back, mothers (biological or not) bond
together and it would not be fair to the
baby, my family, or to you to do that. So
please, write me back and let me know your
thoughts.

Hi lisa,
my dh and I are in the same boat with you.
I have had 3 miscarriages, so we are
choosing adoption now. We don't have
any children yet, and we can hardly wait
to have a child. We do have money in
the bank, but we would like to use most of
it actually raising a child--you
know--college, camps, activities, fun
clothes, all that good stuff! Our
attorney told us to network everywhere.
He said to tell everyone we know and ask
everyone we know to tell everyone they
know, etc. Have you gotten your home
study and all of that? We have all the
paperwork done, but it sure was a pain!
Do you have a website link with your info
on it? We are david and karen from ok.
I read about a group of families that
wanted to adopt that helped each other
network. Maybe we can do that?

by the way, patrick, my husband and I
thought your rent-a-kid joke was
hilarious--i assume you were joking!
