Any Chance I Could Be Pregnant?
Posted: 11-21-05 08:18am

I'm 24 years old and my boyfriend and I were fooling around a couple weeks ago (and more recently too I suppose). We have never had sex or even been naked together, but I did give him a hand job and he did finger me. I was wondering if there was any possibility I could be pregnant if some semen was on his hand or got on my hand and was passed to me. I don't event think he ejaculated just pre-cum. My period is usually every 24-28 days and its been 30 days. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it came out negative. Am I okay? Please reply

If you've never had sex, then you're not pregnant.

I've read if sperm comes in contact with the vagina even by a hand you can. Its rare but possible. Any truth to this?

You took it after you were supposed to get your period so it's 99.9% accurate. You're prob just stressing alot and that's why it's late.

Grrr I still haven't gotten my period yet and i"m just sick with worry. I told my boyfriend last night and he litterally had a panic attack because we're both very against pre marital sex and obviously didn't have sex..... I took another pregnancy test this mornign (first response) and it came up negative. I know this might sound stupid but is there anything I can do to induce my period to come just to give me peace of mind?

Yes, you can stop stressing about it. The more you stress the worse it's going to get. Or on a lighter note you can always get a gyne exam! Every time I ever had one my period came the next day..

I honestly don't believe you are. The chances are way too slim...

Okay. Well are the pregnancy tests pretty reliable? 1st response in particular

Mine was right on the money. Three or four days after a missed period, after I had already gone to the bathroom 15 minutes earlier, after I finished drinking a sprite I got a positive. A positive is pretty much dead on. If it's negative you might want to try again once or twice to be sure....If after that it still says negative, i'd stop worrying....

You are definitely not pregnant. Sperm dies once it hits the air. Your acidic vaginal secretions would also have killed the sperm before they ever made it anywhere.

that is a myth and is not true. Ask some doctors, they will tell you the same. Every doctor I have had has told me that is a myth.

As for you fergie.. I wouldn't worry. Stress could be causing your period to be late! It has done that to me a few times and scared the crap out of me!

Just take another pregnancy test to be sure, and if you still don't get it within a week and the result was another negative, make an appointment with your doc. First response is a good test, so i'd rely on the results.

Good luck! I'm sure everything will be fine!
