When do you think it is alright to
introduce orange juice to a baby?
My little guy is 7.5 months, and just
wondering if it would be ok, or not. He
is getting sick of the same old apple
juice all the time.
I'm kind of concerned about the acid in
it...Maybe if I watered it down a bit.

I think it's fine as long as it's watered
a bit. He can also have pear juice and
grape juice.

Yes, I think it should be okay too. But
def watered down a bit. My little
sharalee, never did care for oj, but she
had reflux and bad when she was a newborn
baby. Born with it. We had to get
her on foods really early cuz she would
puke on the formula from it, she would
just wanna eat too much. Foods helped,
but I dont think she ever enjoyed oj.
There is this orange like soda--no fizz at
payless (kroegers) she likes though.
Not soda at all just like vit c orange
drink, in the soda section.

Usually what is recommended is half and
half, so half water and half juice, try to
avoid really sugary juices like cool aid
as you will have one hyper kid!

kool aid..... 100% fruit juices
only!!!... I think I might try some after
supper tonight (oj) just to see how he
likes it.

Well I just tried him on oj, and it was a
big hit. I'll wait another hour or so to
see if he pukes it up. He drank 5
ounces, and wanted more, but I think thats
all i'll try for tonight. I mixed it
half and half with water.
Does anyone out there have any tasty baby
food recipes?
