Q: Problems With the Depo Shot

I have been on the shot of 4 years I took my last one in july and got sick shortly after and had my first period in 4 years I was due a shot in oct. But could not get it because of the lose of my ins. I have not had a period since aug. Could I be pregnant if so would it show up on a test because I have took a test and it was neg.

Your period may just be out of wack since you have been taking the depo. It can take up to a year before fertility returns after having the shot. But to be safe I would ask your dr or nurse - over the phone because you don't have ins - about your situation. And because you have been there in the past, they should @ least be able to answer some questions without you needing to be seen.
