I know this has nothing to do with pregnancy.. But, as we all know..This site is the only one that gets the most traffic...So I post here

is anybody out there stressed major right now?.. I mean maternity benefits suck, and I have so many people to buy for.

I know christmas isn't all about how many gifts are jammed under the tree, but we have a new addition this year, so it is a huge reason for my family to celebrate.
This will be his "only" first christmas, so we want to make it special.

Does anyone have any good christmas gift tips that are really nice gifts, but inexpensive too?

I just had a crying fit to my husband as he walked out the door for work. I am so stressed with the financial end of it. I mean were aren't hurting, but I am used to living a certain way, and giving lots for christmas. I'm not sure I do can that this year. I feel guilty as can be, and think my frineds will feel "jipped".

This is keeping me awake for hours at night. Last night I was awake from 3 until 6:30 am. Finally I woke my hubby up, for some sex...

It worked believe it or not. It calmed me down, and I went back to sleep until the baby woke up at 8:30.

Yeah me too, I have always bought for my kids, but this year I might be lucky to buy for baby/babys in belly only. And not very much of that. And both boys just had b-days in oct, couldnt give, and mine and daughter b-day on dec 1st. It will be the same.

I send much holiday cheer to all ya'all forumers

.God bless all

Why don`t you get professional pictures taken of your baby and give them out for gifts? It would be inexpensive and i`m sure that everyone would love to get one. You could even put the pics. Into nice picture frames. :d

Yes, I did the pictures thing last year. Went to dollar general for the frames. Used them as fill in the "lacking spots" in my gift giving last year.

Re: Gift
I really know understand your dilema, im still waiting for ei payment to come in and I have 18 direct family members to buy for for 5 siblings 5 bil/sil parents etc lol!!! I started my xmas shopping in july and all I have left is my dad but we have a rule of 20$/person that way everyone gets the same amount and their is no fighting.

Toysrus online has good specials and another idea is gift baskets (make your own) and I find it alot cheaper, other things you can do is buy stockings and fill them up with chocolate and maybe add a few extra items. Okay xmas is the season of giving but who says you have to pay alot to get someone something they will actually enjoy, I bought my brother ps2 game that he wanted for 20$.

Wish you luck

My husbands family (big family) usually draws names out of a hat and you only buy for that person or couple ($30) both of his sisters have young kids and not alot of spare money so this suits most of them and it definatley saves alot of money especially when you have a large family. We all still buy for all the kids though.

Exchanging names are good but keep in mind that christmas is not all about gifts, even just buying for the little one's is good. To me hugs are better than presents! Just be thankful if you are together with your family at christmas as their are soo many that are not togrther for the holidays with the war and all.
