Skin Lesions Posted: 12-13-03 19:06pm
I have suffered from this skin condition
for more than five years. It starts out
like an inflamed pimple but there is a
core that is hard and creamy like a grain
of rice. It will get very fevered and
inflamed and break open causing a sore,
the sore will continue to drain puss and
blood for several weaks getting larger as
it progresses. I feel like I am a leaper
or something. As I take a bath or shower
the scabs come loose they have attached
this grain like core and after the core
comes out the sore heals up leaving a scar
tissue. If the grain doesn't come out it
may heal up but it soon re-infects and
starts the whole process over again. This
condition is primarily on my arms, &
sholders however I have had it on my legs
on occasion. Several dr's have looked at
this condition but has done no testing, or
have they made any suggestions as to what
it is or could be. Is there a concern for
skin cancer or does this sound familiar to
anyone, if so what is it? How do you get
rid of it? I have tried different
antibotic creams, lotions, soaps,
cleansers, nothing seams to help...
