You can actually see your baby's movements at 11 weeks. I had just came from the library with my kids. I laid on the couch to watch t.V, I picked my shirt up to rub on my belly and for some reason, I grabbed a book, put it on top of my belly and stared at it for a minute. I saw the book moving slowly, kinda like in a jumpy way. I was even holding my breath and it still did it. It was so funny.

Has anyone else tried this before, if not I would recommended.

You must have a very large baby at 11 weeks then as its very unusual to see them at such an early stage if I put anything on my tummy at 11 weeks all I could see yas my pulse moving it not the baby, i'm 19 weeks with my second child and felt it move at 16 weeks and only last week while laying in the bath did I actually see my tummy change shape in front of my eyes, good luck

baby is already moving all over at 7 weeks, all though they think no one can feel it. I believe some pple can feel the baby much sooner than others. And may feel baby at 12 weeks(or less) last pregnancy, while you did not feel him til 20 weeks on first pregnancy. Or even visa versa. I know I felt my first 3 around 18 -19 weeks. (that made it to 18-19 weeks) but my last I felt much younger--possibly around 12 weeks or so.

It depends how thick your uterus is this pregnancy. What position or location the baby is in /on this pregnancy. How close to the top , close to you skin this pregnancy. This site said 7 weeks baby's moving all over, other said later, but all of them said "baby moving all over and vigorously" by 8 or 9 weeks.

As far as belly moving--i dont think you can visually see gas--can you???

I know I felt this baby really young. First actual "movement" was well before 9 weeks, and I felt like he pushed off from the side of his environment to the other. Like swimmer pushing off from side of pool. But before that I could feel life when I touched his location in my abdomen. But my case is much different for .I have no uterus, and baby is laying right near the surface of my abdomen near my skin.

All pregnancy's are different, all women are different. So I believe you def. Could have seen our belly move, and I dont think it was gas!!
