Emergency Contraception And Ectopic Pregnancy? Posted: 11-27-05 01:29am
I'm just wondering about this is all...If
a woman who suspects pregnancy takes the
morning-after pill either too late, or
takes it and it's not fully effective,
does it increase her risk of ectopic
pregnancy? Could the pills kill the
embryo and cause it to fuse itself to the
fallopian tube rather than be expelled
from the body?

It does slightly, very slightly increase
the chance for ectopic pregnancy. But it
is so effective at preventing pregnancy...
And there are many women who have not had
ectopic pregnancies after using the map.
