Hi everyone. I am 7 weeks pregnant and my boobs are starting to not hurt as bad. They were killing me up until about a week ago. I actually could be farther a long, could that be why? Is this normal? I am also getting really bad headaches. I am so nervous about miscarrying because at my first appt. My doctor said don't be upset if you miscarry, most women do there first time. I am horrified now. Does anyone have any thoughts to ease my mind? Thanks

Swollen tender breasts are a sign of pregnancy. Its a symptom. They are getting fuller and changing so they will be very sore. Headaches and fatigue are normal as well. Just be calm about everything and dont stress it so much. How horrible for your doctor to say that! I think you should change. I have never heard of most women miscarrying their first time. I know *alot* of first timers who were fine. If that were true, more women would be upset over it. But it cannot be a proven fact. Maybe changing to a more positive doctor would be good. You seem fine and just in the first trimester of pregnancy. Dont worry.

Woah - Nasty Man!
My god, that doctor is a monster! I had my first @ 16, was pg @15, and she was very healthy. Don't listen to him and let it scare you - and get a new doc asap! As for the boobs, the initial tenderness does decrease for awhile usually around 13-15 weeks. I am 18 weeks along and mine are fine. I would go see a new doc and get their opinion. They may also schedule you for an earlier than usual ultrasound to check exactly how far along you are.
Good luck! Wink

It is absolutely untrue that most women miscarry their first pregnancy. I would not return back to that Dr., seriously. When I was pregnant I was in the same position you are. I would constantly hit my breasts to make sure they still hurt because I was afraid that if they didn't it mean that I had a miscarriage. You definately don't want to stress because that's not good for you or the baby. I wish I hadn't worried so much during my pregnancy because I really feel like I missed out on a lot of the fun stuff. Seriously though, switch Dr.'s!!!!1

Doctors Have No Heart.
When I was about 5 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child I started bleeding and when I went to my doctor she told me that there was nothing that she could do b/c if I was misscarrying then I was miscarrying. She said that she wasn't going to give me an ultrasound b/c they cost alot of money to use and it wasn't an emergency and if I was miscarrying then it would just be a waste of money. Needless to say that was the last time I seen her and gave birth to a very healthy 8 1/2 lbs. Baby boy with the help of a better doc.!

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and my breasts were hurting a lot also but they are feeling better now it may be that your just getting used to them being sore so it's not so noticable :d I also get a lot of headaches when i'm pregnant!! I don't think you have anything to worry about!! Oh yea in my first pregnancy I also worried about miscarrying a lot it's just the mother coming out in you :d
