Hey there...Well I was 11 days late but I ended up getting my period a few days later. Being late could mean a lot of different things. Medications could effect when you get your period. The reason I didnt get mine was because I got sick before hand and was just late. The best thing that you could do right now is to go out and get a test. If you are 11 days late now would be the best time.

Thank you for the advice, I guess I will go buy a test. Im only 18 so im kinda freekin out, about all this im not really ready to b a mommy. I think im almost to scared to even take a test ya know like I have been thinking if I just ingore it I will get my period, but that is not happening. Do u have any idea if the medication will affect the test result??? I know im asking so many questions im sorry im just a lil nervous. I feel like I might b having symptoms but they could all just be in my head. Like my boobs hurt soooo much and I get cramps but they arnt major (like when I get my period I get horrible ones uh) and they only last like a minute and I have like whiteish dishcarge thats a lil clumpy (sorry to much information lol). I have never been preg. Before so I dont really know what to expect. Any more advice would be great I know I should just go take a test I just need to get up the nerve to do it. :? Thank you so much!

You can probably call your pharmacy and ask the pharmacist if the medication can impact your period.

You definitely should test, though. I never read anything that indicated meds could influence a pregnancy test - after all, hcg is the only thing the test is searching for and other drugs in your system shouldn't impact that result.

Good luck. I was 19 when I had my first and everything has worked out beautifully - I am the proud mom of an 11 year old honor student who's now in junior high. I'm also expecting another baby with my new husband.

Well I really am not sure about the medications interfering with the test but I really dont think so. You know my fiance and I have been trying to get pregnant for a few months now and everytime I miss a few days I start to think that I may be pregnant. I start thinking of symptoms in my head and a few days when I just calm down and dont think about it I get my period. So it could be in your head. But you cant go on thinking that it will just go away because if you are it wont:) a test would be the best option. You could also go see your doctor too and he can do a blood test. Dont be afraid. Just get it done:)

Hi there! Their are a lot of meds out their that can mess with your period and b/c meds along with stress and anxiety. I am no dr but I know this from experience, you might want to call your pharmacist, if you think you are pregnant please get tested so you can start your prenatal care.
I quit trying to get pregnant and sure enough, it happened, stress does not help when you are trying to get preggers. Baby dust to you!
Good luck!

No worry.
Anxiety pills usually do not have many, if any, side effects. For most anxiety sufferers, pills can help quite a bit. The effectiveness of anxiety pills will differ from person to person; this is why it is important to discuss treatment options with your doctor. You may have to try a couple of different varieties of anxiety pills before you find the right one for you specific condition. And no it won't make your period slow, but stress will.
