Im 4 days off from 8 months and im more worried what elisa (16 months) may do to her little brother when born, if any of you ladies have any advice on this let me know, I need to be prepared. Elisa will be 17 1/2 months when her brother is born and I have seen her around other kids and know what she can do biting, pushing hitting, I do give her time out as well as tell her no but I fear it wont be enough.

Elisa in general is an awesome child, she barely cries is finally sleeping the night again and is very independant. Any advice from other moms would be helpful, its just starting to kick in im due in 8 weeks lol....

The first thing that you need to do .. Is buy a boy doll or a girl doll whatever, and introduce it to her and tell her this is your baby brother.. Etc. Etc. Then you need to wrap the baby up and start holding him and getting her use to you holding another baby. So that she wont feel jealous. Also have her try to kiss the baby.. And tell her easy and not to ruff stuff like that..

Good luck.. But I think it will be okay
