I just needed some help. My wife is about
10 and a half weeks pregnant. She has
been spotting for the past two to three
weeks, we had an ultrasound and we saw the
heartbeat. For a few days the bleeding
completely stopped, but she was getting
some brown slimy stuff coming out. But
for the past three days she is bleeding
again not heavy though, we had a
miscarriage before. She is also giving
small clots. We went to the er and they
did a examination, told her to take a lot
of bedrest. I just wanted to know if this
is normal or not. Does it usually go away
after a while. Any kind of help or
suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Your wife should have complete bed rest.
Since you said she had a miscarriage
before, she should take all necessary
precautions to keep this from happening
again. Although I have a friend who said
she had blood discharge(or period as she
calls it) while she was pregnant, and
still carried the baby to full term, I
guess this is not true for all. I think
you and your wife should go back to your
ob to find out what's wrong and what's
causing the spotting as this is not normal
and also to give you both peace of mind
especially your wife. Even a teeny,
weeny bit of stress/worry can do a lot of
harm to a pregnant woman.
Goodluck.....

Everyone thank you for your help and
support. But now I have another problem.
Since yesterday my wife started bleeding a
more heavier than before. She has her
ultrasound today. Pls pray for us that
everything turns out to be fine. Any idea
if this could be a miscarriage.

Thanks For All Your Support!!!!! Posted: 12-01-05 09:11am
You know I never knew that their are
people who don't know you at all but they
do come forward and pray for you and share
their personal experiences. I want to
thank everyone for their prayers and
suport, unfortunately yesterday my wife
went for her ultrasound and they didn't
see the heartbeat. The fetus was dead.
Therefore she had a miscarriage. I would
like everyone to pray for us, that she
recovers really soon and the next
pregnancy is a successful one. Again, I
thank everyone for everything. God
bless!!!
I hope her next pregnancy is full of
everything wonderful......Good luck!
