Announcing Pregnancy to Grandparents to Be Posted: 11-30-05 02:57am
I am expecting my 3rd child and wanted to
think of a cute way to tell my parents
that they will be grandparents again. I
found a cute baby bassinet ornament that I
was thinking of giving them at christmas
but am struggling w/ something witty to
put in the card to announce the
news....Any suggestions?

Well mine wont work cuz you have kids
already. I was going to say walk up to
your mom or dad and go at what age did you
wont to become granparent? And then when
they say the age you go oopes srry...Lol
thats what my friend told me to do. I
didnt use it I just told my mom and she
nearly killed me...Lol

Angel that is a realy cute idea.. We are
trying for our first so I will have to
keep that in mind when we finaly find out.

Yeah if I was 17 my mom would kill me
too... Fortunatly I am 27 and my father
is already been bugging us for a
grandbaby...
I told him these things take time...
Practice makes perfect.. He cringed that
the last comment. He wants grandchildren
but does not like to remember how babys
are made... Immaculate conception I
guess, :)

wow well my bf is 23 and his parents took
it quit well...

Well, when my family came over for
christmas everyone in the family knew I
was pregnant except for the
great-grandma.
So what we did was:my brother and I sat
down on each side of great-grandma and
someone in the room said "now we have two
and a half generations in that picture"
and she asked "where's the half?" and I
stood up and showed her my belly.
Then she said "well I already knew, I just
didn't want to say anything"
(i saw her looking at my tummy as soon as
first walked in the room)
