I am concerned about a friend of mine and
I have just noticed as I was searching
through the forums this here.
My friend derek is nearly 16 and he claims
nothing is wrong but it is obvious there
is.
Just this week you have to take a
look.Sunday and monday night he probably
had only an hour or 2 of sleep. He is
always tired and really, you cant talk to
him when he has had no sleep.
I know im a very light sleeper but at
least im getting 4 hours sleep at lease
every night. What should I tell my friend
to do

I think both you and your friend need to
see your doctor 4 hours sleep is not good
for you.
You both need more sleep than that. At
16 you are probably about to do gcse's and
you will need to sleep better to be able
to concentrate.
Good luck, and happy dreaming

You all said how concerned you were about
me but I didnt see the problem.
On saturday night you can say it caught up
with me.While sleeping at a friends house
I was in the land of nod and
midnight.First time in,well,4 year and I
slept right through till 9.30.Best nights
sleep ever lol.Its like my body has
suddenly clicked on and realised how tired
I have been getting.
But derek still has a big problem. He
phoned up at 5.30am yesterday morning and
hadnt had a wink of sleep. He was up at 9
so I feel sorry for the lad.

I am really pleased that you managed to
get some sleep over the week end.
Now that you have realised how much sleep
you have missed maybe you can try talking
again to your friend and hopefully get him
to see a doctor who maybe able to help.
You shud probably still see a doc
yourself!! One night of sleep is good but
you still need more.
Alternativly you could try herbal sleep
aids, they are not addictive and available
from most good health food stores.

I am going to see a doctor. My girlfriend
has shown she is concerned about me and
sneaked something into a drink when I was
at hers a few nights ago to help me
sleep.
It did work cause when I go home an hour
later I was so relaxed and just wanted to
hit the pillow.
I need to find out what it was
