What you have is so common, most women get it and never even know they have it. No, it should not change the chances of you getting pregnant or harm the fetus. You can get that from a number of things. It is a bactiria that needs to be treated with antibiotics.

My sister found out she had it when she went to her first drs appointment when she was pregnant. She started freaken out, thinking her husband cheated on her and gave her something.........The dr said that you can get it from a towel not being washed properly or having sex with your husband more then once in the same day and not taking a shower after each time. It is a bactiria that lives and if it comes into contact with the vagina it makes itself at home. But if you have it again I would ask what to do to prevent it. It is not an std although that is one of the ways it is transmited......I dont know if I helped you but I was trying to!!!

Love, tammy

No Need to Worry.
I don't know how many time I have had that until I figured out the cause to it. It's definitely very common. I found out the reason why I was getting it was because my bf was using the same towel as me (he didn't know because at the time, we had all the same color of towels) and sometimes using my loofah. So then we bought different colored towels and loofahs and I haven't had a problem since. Best way to prevent it from happening is to figure out the source.

I'd just go to your doctor to get it taken care of. First find out if you're pregnant for sure, so they know the right kind of medicine to give you since i'm not sure if they give the same medicine to pregnant women.

Good luck!

My boyfriend and I had been trying for 2 years, basically from the day we met. Lol. I was convinced that we couldn't have kids, and I would always cry about it because our town is full of a bunch of hoochies that were getting pregnant and couldn't care for the baby or just didn't want it. Everytime I saw someone that was pregnant or with a baby I would break down and cry, and my boyfriend couldn't really understand why. He always told me that we could have kids and it will happen when it happens. I had used ovulation tests, and calculating my days, but nothing was working...Well, on our two year anniversery I got pregnant! I was so happy!! I guess this kind of thing just takes time.

Hi i'm 7 weeks pregnant and I had that I took antibods for mine and she told me not to go home and kill my hubby cause it's not an std she said these bacterias live in females and if one the bacterias out grow the other theses vaginosis would occur. It's caused by gardenerella bacteria so don't be scared I was too when I was first told this. But good luck and god bless you
