Q: Pregnant/broken Ankle/surgery With General Anesthesia

Im wondering the risks of general anesthesia for my ankle surgery. I am 16weeks preg. Orthopedic surgeon cant just locally numb the ankle. :shock:

Just mention to the dr that your prego....

Besides that somethings just have to get done and a dr wouldt jeopardise a pregnancy unless the mothers life is at risk talk it over with ob-gyn as well to get a second opinion...

I have heard contradicting stuff on being put to sleep so dr is you best bet wish you luck!
