Yasmin....first Couple Questions , of So Many More Posted: 12-01-05 14:43pm
1. I'm on first pack of yasmin, on the
3rd day of the placebo pills.....Still no
period. Is this normal? What happens
if I go through the placebos and still
don't get it? Do I just start a new
pack? Could this mean preggo?
2. What's the deal with acne? I hear
people say it's causing acne, and I hear
people say it's supposed to clear it up.
I however, have been getting
breakouts....And on my body, too....Not
just my face. Is this something that
will go away after the first 3 months?
Or do I need to switch? I also have been
on vicodin for having surgery
recently....Could this be a contributor to
the acne?
If anyone knows answers to my ?'s, please
let me know. I'd love to make some new
fellow yasmin user friends. Hope

I have been on yasmin for a bout a year
and a half and I love it!!!!!! Well here
is what I experienced. The very first
month I experience break outs too, but
after that first pack, I had wonderfully
clear skin, i've never had an acne problem
but I think that on yasmin my face is
clearer than before taking the pill, but
like I said the first month I did break
out. Now I only get pimples when my
period is on or coming on like normal, but
besides that I have clear skin.
About not getting your period yet, I
remember that on my first pack of yasmin I
didn't get my period until the friday of
the placebo pills, and I am a sunday
starter, I too was worried but it came.
After that I started to gradually get it
earlier in the sugar pills week, now I am
steady on getting it the wednesday of that
week, it never fails.
As far as any other symptoms, at first I
experience a little bit of morning
sickness because I take it at night, but
that too went away. Honestly I have not
experience weight gain, lost of sex drive,
or anything like i've heard some other
people have experienced...... I wouldn't
trade yasmin for the world! The only
thing I have had is spotting if I take two
pills late, this has only happened once
and it was really annoying because I
spotted for three weeks!!!!! But I can't
complain that was my fault, so beware do
not take your pills late!!!!
I can't say that your experience will be
as pleasant as mine since everyone's body
is different, but only good things to say
about yasmin here!!!!!!
