Long Term Dental Problems Posted: 12-15-03 21:12pm
What affects will long term dental
problems have on your health. I am so
"chicken" to go to the dentist, I have
several teeth that need extracted. These
teeth get abcessed from time to time. My
concerns are what am I doing to my health,
is my immune system working alot of
overtime with these bad teeth? Thanks for
reading.

Problem teeth with a history of infection
tend to get a little worse each time the
infection flares up, not to mention the
additional pain.
You risk contracting an oral infection,
that has the potential to make you very
ill.
More importantly, you will suffer in later
life if you end up loosing a significant
amount of teeth due to decay.
Go to the dentist. Get an assessment and
then work towards addressing the problems
overtime with a dentist that understands
your concerns.
