This Is Embarassing...but I Need Advise So What the Heck Posted: 12-02-05 10:59am
Hi everyone! Im on my 19+5 today,
everythings doin well: baby's very active
now, my nausea has been just a thing of
the past etc. Ill go str8 to the point
anyway, obviously hubby and me is still
engaging on sex as ive read and learned
that if youre not on high risk its ok.
However as my tummy grows bigger it gets
really uncomfortable and my tummy just
stiffens and contracts after sex.
Sometimes it scares me because my stomach
gets really stiff which is really
uncomfortable. Do you have any suggestion
on the most comfortable sexual position
during pregnancy and wouldnt the
pumping(cant think of any other word
sorry) cause premature labor and
contractions? Any advise would help

its not that embarassing how did we get
prego in the first place lol!!!
Anyways I found "doggie style" or
laying down beside each other worked best,
nothing you can do for after cramps they
kinda of come and go...
Although they wont cause you to go into
labor unless conditions are ripe /high
risk pregnancy or your trying really hard
to get the baby out..

that doggie position anyway but its still
a bit crampy afterwards and I think thats
where I got prego lmao=) ill have a look

When your stomach tightens after sex, this
is your uterus contracting. You need to
let your doctor know to find out what is
normal for you. Depending on the severity
of the contractions, and how often you
have sex, this could be normal, or a case
of premature labor. I had premature labor
with all three of my pregnancies, and was
advised not to have sex. With my first
one, I was a young newlywed and didn't
quite listen. I remember the tightening
of my stomach after sex. I hope this
isn't the case for you! Good luck!!!

Doggie was good, just as you grow it gets
harder to hold that big belly up lol

I truly feel for you. I still crave sex
often, but I am about 5 months along, and
it is getting uncomfortable. Just in the
past three weeks (weeks 18 - 20) my
stomach has about doubled in size! I
really do not like being on top.
He is usually on top, but he has been
gaining "sympathy" weight as well. The
extra weight he has put on in his own
belly area only makes it that much more
uncomfortable for me. :( he even
commented the last time that it is about
time for me to be on top now. I am just
not sure how this will turn out for us. I
guess if I want it bad enough I will give
in to being on top, but I hope he will
compromise a little, too, and try other
positions.
