Is It Really Neccessary?
Posted: 12-02-05 12:37pm

I recently became a sunday starter on ortho-lo just this past sunday. I stopped bleeding completely with no spotting wednesday. I had sex last night unprotected but not for a long time but my boyfriend had alot of pre-cum. Do you think it is neccessary for me to run and get an emergency contraception pill? I read that I need back up protection for the first 7 days... Its only been 5... I am worried and concerned. Please help... But I didnt want to have to go and make an appointment to purchase an ec pill which will jumpstart my period sooner than it should.

Why did you not use protection if it says to do so for 7 days?

Maybe you should see the doc to see if you need ec

Is it really necessary to take that extra precaution when you are on antibiotics although you have been on the pill for a long time? I was just wondering.

hey -- am I reading this right. You were asleep and he starts having sex with you? Is this normal behaviour for him?

Have you discussed birth control with this boyfriend, and is he aware of the consequences of messing up? It sounds like this guy needs to get a bit of responsibility slapped into him.

Oh that's awful that he would try to have sex with you when you are asleep!
That is surely not a normal thing to do.

I agree with the previous post that you need to talk to him....About a number of issues I think!
