People Have Told Me Pcr Can Test False Positive Posted: 12-02-05 15:28pm
Hello,
i tested positive but I have been told pcr
can return a false positive, and I need to
wait another 3-4 weeks and take an
antibody test.
I am very nervous and on edge. Has anyone
every experienced hiv.
I have had pain in lymph nodes for 2.5
weeks now, temps every day up to 100.5,
headaches, sore throat etc. I have had
flus before but never like this or for
this long.
Last couple of days while I still have the
body aches and temp most of the pain seems
to be in the shaft of the penis, kidney
area, groin and legs (shooting pain in my
calves and thighs). Is this normal for
indicating an hiv infection?
Please help with info if you can.

While some of what you mentioned are
sometimes considered symptoms, hiv sets no
clear symptoms in anbody as it reacts
differently in everyone.
