Hi holliewood! I have been off the pill for about 3 weeks now. My husband and I had sex on 11/28...My "fertile" day. So, it may be too early to have this symptom but my nipples have been very sensitive too. Seem to be a bit larger too. I have been having mild cramps as well. It is hard to tell if this is because of going off the pill...Or being preg. My period is due 12/12.

This is my third month off the pill, and I have had weird periods. I should be ovulating normally now. Everything I have looked up on my sore nipples has something to do with breastfeeding. Not sure what to think. Good luck to you.

Hi again...I was reading your other posts. Did you end up having a period in nov? Did you make an app. With your doctor to get a blood test? Oh...And about the taste in your mouth. I was just reading today that a symptom that a lot of people do not notice is the tast of metal of somekind in your mouth. So weird...They could not give an explanation why that happens but that it does!

yeah I started about three days after I wrote that post. I guess my body was getting back to normal after the pill. I have had a period every time, so that is good, but man your body does weird things. I had weird pains for a few weeks before I started. I did not have these pains in my nipples though. I wish I knew when I was ovulating, but don't really have a clue with screwed up periods. I think a lot of times I get to thinking to much about it and start noticing all these symptoms. It is exciting to think about!

Yeah I know exactly what you mean! Every little feeling or change in your body you think "am I pregnant"? If you have been off the pill for 3 months or so...I would think that you should be preg or getting preg pretty soon. Here I am thinking I may be preg only after being off the pill for 3 weeks! These cramping feelings I have been having lately I think may be because I am pregnant even though I may have had them all along and never noticed them. Crazy!

Wow..Thats weird.....Well yea I get my period the 12th too.Me and my husband had sex on the 26 the 29 and the 30......Our most fertile days...Hopefully a miracle happens....Ive been trying for so long..Oh
i have been having light cramps a really sharp pain and....I get nouseous so easily..Even after smelling coffee.Hopefully we have both conceived

Hey crysler17.....The 12th cannot come soon enough can it! How long have you and your husband been trying for a baby? How did you find out you had a tilted uterus?
I have not really had any nausea yet. Just the light cramping on and off during the day. But, that could be because of discontinuing my bc pills. Have you been on the pill ever? I think I will try to take a hpt on 12/8. Good luck!

Yea...I even have an alarm on my phone to wake me up on the 12ve.Im soo nervous..And anxious too.Well I thought I had a cyst so I went for an ultrasound and thats when I found out about my tilted uterus..I remember I cried so much..I still do.Just to think ill never be able to concieve makes me think soooo many bad things.I ve never been on a pill or patch or nothing..Never ever..Thats why im even more concerned.We have been married for 7 months..Im sooooooo anxious.
I cant wait.....Tell me what happens the 12ve..Ill be waiting

Hey crysler17---any news yet? I took a test but it came out negative. I have been having cramps all week but that could be because my period is due next week. Just wondering if you have had any changes!

Hey crysler- I have lost track of all my postings so I am not sure if I have already told you! I have taken 3 tests and they have all come back positive so I am probably pregnant. Have you tested yet? I know we had ovulated the same time so you should be due for your period soon. Let me know!

First of all, crysler - good luck, I hope you are pregnant. Which way is your uterus tilted? Mine is retrograde, but my gyn said that shouldn't make a difference on trying to get pregnant - she just said it is retro.

You know, it is funny b/c I stopped the pill a few days before you and had the same sharp/crampy feelings, I was due for it on the 7th of december - I took an early preg test on the 3rd of dec and it came out neg. And I have been too afraid to try it again (b/c I want to be pregnant), but I still haven't got my period.

Do you still have those sharp pains? Mine stopped, but it feels like my breasts are getting bigger and really soft/mushy feeling (which usually they don't get like that before my period - they usually feel heavy and soar)....It was nice to see that your first test was negative. How soon after did you retry to find you were pregnant?

congrats! I am happy for you. I still have not taken a test. I guess I am so nervous it will be negative that I am just gonna wait a few days to see if my period comes. My mid-lower back has been really hurting though and my chest is still swollen. Am I right thinking that I will start 14 days after I ovulated? Again congrats!

Holliewood - I forgot to write to you also, good luck - I hope that you are pregnant. Sounds like you might - I am afraid to take a preg test too, I took an early one, and it was neg., I really should take one now b/c I am almost 5 day past due, but I am like you, I was going to wait for a couple of weeks, but I might try it sooner now - keep me posted...We should make a deal - you try it and i'll try it on the same day and then we'll tell eachother and support eachother on the results!!!! You in?!?!?! How about this week, which morning (i think the morning is the best for accurracy) this week do you want to do it!!?!?!?

I really do not have sharp pains, I have the dull crampy feeling right before you start your period. They come and go all day long! I still think I am going to start my period! I have not noticed a change in my breasts yet except I did notice little white splotches on my nipples....But not sure if they have always been there! I took a test on thursday and it was a bfn. Took one yesterday morning and it was negative at first....I pulled it out of the trash 20 minutes later and there was 2nd faint line. I took one again this morning and within 10 minutes there was a 2nd faint line. I decided to try a different brand so a friend of mine that works at a clinic gave me 2 tests that the doctors use. Took it this afternoon and it came up within 5 minutes. So, I would not lose hope because you got a negative. Take one again and let me know!!!

Well, you convinced me to do it this morning, so I did...And it came out negative, very strong 1 line. I used first response....Which is the best one to use? The only thing I can hold on to at this point, is that I drink alot of water (my pee is very light b/c I drink lots of water)....So maybe there is very very light hcg to begin with and with the water I drink, that dilutes it more (i'm propably not pregnant, and i'm just convincing myself I am)....But, assuming I don't get my period by next week, i'll take another one...Which one should I use?!?!?

All I can say, is this is going to get very expensive, trying these silly tests every week, lol! Why am I getting this crampy pains on both sides (there is sharpness to them sometimes too, that just comes and goes)...Usually before a period, I get crampy feeling 1-3 days before my period and it's on one side pretty much...That is why I thought I was pregnant...Oh well!!!

Congrats designergal!! I am so happy for you. Everytime I hear of success I get so happy for that person. My husband and I have been trying since august. He had a reversal on his vas after having one for 14 years last january. We finally got a sperm count in aug. I keep hoping it will be this month because then I can wrap it in wrapping paper (the test) and give it to my husband for christmas! But my period is due on the 25th. Any prayers and baby dust would be great!! I geuss my fertile day is today and yesterday.
I can't remember who was wishing she could know when she was ovualting, to whoever that was there are ovulation tests you can buy at any store. They are pee on a stick type tests.
I am so sorry debbsie that the test came back -. My prayers will be with you and yours that next month will be the month!!

Hi girls!

I am sorry about the negative test deppsie....Don't get discouraged. Some women's hormones take longer to show. If not this time, then next. I used a generic test from the local navy exchange here in pearl harbor. The other test I took was from a friend who works in medical and has access to the tests that the doctors use. I used answer first and gave me a negative so it must not be sensitive. It is just so weird...You have not had your period and you have those crampy feelings! To me it sounds like pregnancy symptoms. I went to the doctor today and was confimed that I am pregnant. But, I still have these period like cramps! So strange!

Thank you lisaboo for the congrats! We are very excited even though my poor husband is in shock. Good luck this month! I hope it happens for you!!!
