Period After Stopping Pill? Posted: 12-03-05 05:02am
I stopped the pill about 6 days ago. A
week before that I had gotten my period.
3 days after stopping the pill I got my
period again and is still have it. Its
still here been 4 days. I was just
wondering if it was normal to get your
period right after you stop your pill?
Also I had only been on it for 6 months.

When I stopped the pill, I had just had my
period, and had another one right after
stopping it, then I didn't have another
one for 3 months, then on the 4th month it
came again, and I got back on birth
control and it has been normal ever since.
The doctor said it was normal, that I
was just adjusting to getting off of it.

I am in a similar situation. I stopped
taking YAZ about 4 days ago and have
gotten my period a full 2 weeks early.
So this is a normal thing to happen after
your body gets off the borth control?
