Not to get you worried but I think they
will take blood just to run some tests and
make sure you are healthy for you and the
baby! It is no biggie though....Trust me
I hate needles so much I would not get a
free flu shot work was giving out. I have
to wait a whole 9 days :( still to go to
the doctor.

Ok i'm going to try this fourm, because
the normal preg. One is a soap opera and
a half.
I'm about 5weeks preg. My second dr's
appt. Is on dec. 27th !!
The first one, I went in with some
spotting, not like me, and found out I was
1-2 weeks prego. Lots of blood work the
week of thanksgiving including on
thanksgiving, which was extreemly hard to
explain my and my hubbys parents since
they came over for thanksgiving dinner and
I wasn't back from the hospital yet!! -
so yes the whole family knows already.
This is my second, my hubbys first -
although he is adopting my son later this
summer, so his second child - first preg.
Poor guy!!

My lmp was october 29th. I noticed that
my hcg was higher than yours, but I work
in health care and from everything I
understand the ranges of normal hcg levels
is pretty broad, one thing that shows if
everything is progressing normally or not
is your hcg should double every 48 hours
up until 10 weeks...Last week when I had
my first level drawn on thursday it was
1968 and when it was drawn on saturday it
was 3950, so it almost doubled. I think
that is more important than the actual
number...
As for my cramps, they have been pretty
bad, lasting for a couple minutes
sometimes. But I have endometriosis, and
I just had surgery for it in july, so my
doctor thinks a lot of my pain is from
that. Also I had a tiny cyst rupture on
my right ovary, but it isn't big enough to
worry about. Just to make sure
everything is ok I am having another
ultrasound on next wednesday (i will be 6
weeks and 4 days preg), and they should be
able to hear the heartbeat on
ultrasound...We are excited!!
My nausea is weird, it normally is only at
night so far. All morning and all day
long I am starving and feel fine, other
than tired, but like after 6pm I can't put
anything in my mouth, it is weird! I too
have only thrown up once, but isn't it
supposed to get bad starting at 6 weeks??

my bf is really starting to think
something is wrong with me, he thinks i'm
getting the flu (i haven't told him yet)
cuz last night I just felt so sick and he
said he thinks i'm getting the flu. My
nausea seems to be only at night
too....It's weird. Ur lmp was only two
days after mine. So we would be very
close. This is cool, if I am indeed
pregnant, it's like having preggo buddies.

I noticed myself being tiresome and and
cry baby right before and after I found
out I was preggy and now it isn't so bad,
I can still cry at anything but I don't
really. An I am not so much tired
anymore. I have 8 more days until my
first doctors visit I can't wait to go!

who die to be in our position and can't
be. I am so grateful b/c I have always
feared not being able to have a baby. Now
I fear something happening to this baby

Yeah it is so great that there are so many
of us due around the same time. It's
great to be able ask questions and discuss
stuff and know that we are all sitting in
the same boat.
So, I went for my second hcg level today,
today would have been the 4th day since
the first one, but in china at this
particular hospital I found out that they
only draw blood on tue, thurs, and sat.
Very nice to know. Well that kind of
messes up my every 2 days thing I was
going for. Oh well I guess as long as my
hcg is over 4600, we will be doing ok,
since it was 1166 on the 3rd.
I am beginning to think I have been
worrying over nothing; I went to the Dr.
Too soon, I guess I am pretty sure that it
is not an ectopic since my cramps are only
around my uterus.
Well my mother-in-law is a mid-wife and
since we will be in china for the duration
of this pregnancy I am really wanting to
tell her so that she can kind of walk me
through things I don’t understand and
tell me what I should be doing (like which
tests I should have had done by now.....)
but, my husband wants to wait until we are
out of the woods of the 1st trimester. I
am trying to talk him into letting me tell
them around christmas. He might let me
tell his mom for the above mentioned
reason but my mom is going to be so mad if
I tell his mom and don’t tell her.
Ahhhhh. Well anyways I guess we will
see.
I had someone ask me today if I was
pregnant because I ate re-fried beans for
supper this morning, ha, it was really
funny my husband was the one telling the
story, we quickly changed the subject.
So we haven't told anyone.
I was super sick yesterday, only threw up
once but was so weak I could hardly sit up
on the toilet, yuk!! Only took a vitamin
and ate a few re-fried beans.
Well, it's always good to read the updates
you guys have posted.

Still no morning sickness thank god. But
when I wake up I almost feel nauseas a
little bit and have a hungry feeling in my
stomache that goes away when I eat. Also
I have been having a small pain from time
to time right under my ribs on the right
side close to my side. Anyone else have
this???
