Hi All!
Posted: 12-07-05 20:50pm

I am due around aug 4, 06. My lmp was oct 27, so I think that justacanadiangirl and I should be due the same day! It is nice that there are so many of us due around the same time.

This is our first pregnancy and we got very lucky getting pregnant our 4th month trying.

Let's all pray that we have healthy babies.

I have the wheel thing that doctors use put out by the makers of alesse. I figure that's the one docs use,so I might as well too. The wheels are made for 28 day cycles though, so if yours isn't 28 days, then it would be a bit later or earlier, depending.

Hello,
i'm not due in august but july 25th is close enough. I have recently started finding things that I can actually eat without throwing it back up. I have all day sickness, it's not limited to the morning. The good thing is that it has been tapering off. I still vomit about once a day. I have to eat something before I get out of bed in the moring or else I feel like crap all day. I have spells where I get really tired. I'm awaiting my u/s appointment to see how the baby is doing. A lot of people are asking wether I want a boy or a girl, right now I just don't want to be sick.

Good luck to you all

August 2006 Babies !!
Posted: 12-08-05 17:50pm

Hello holli ! And all other new parents to be.

I too am looking forward to an august 2006 baby. So so very excited ! I am 36 (almost 37) so have been looking forward to this time when I was finally ready to have a baby. My husband and I had been "trying" for two years and even went to have a laparoscopy etc to find out what was wrong. Nothing was wrong and I just needed to tone down my work load and stress levels. Going to europe for one month with a couple of girl friends helped and here now here we are.. Expecting in august 2006 !

I am however experiencing the period like cramping daily and nightly and it is worrisome although I see that it is not uncommon.

I am looking forward to sharing our month to month experiences in the wonderously exciting event with any of you who wish to share !

Thanks ! Have a wonderful and healthy pregnancy.

I just tested positive last night :) so going by my lmp I would be due about august 22 ( right after my birthday, aug 19!) I would love some people to talk to who are going through the same things!
I am 28, and my husband is 26, we have been trying now for 2 months, so we are both excited! I am going in sometime after my first period is actually "missed" ( I tested early due to some symptoms) to get a blood test to see how far I am. Yay!

I am due august 6th and my husband and I are both turning 24 on august 16th so we are very excited since we share our b-day to have an august baby as well.

That is so cute that all three birthdays will be in august!
Awww.
I am just excited to know before christmas. I know some people say wait to tell, but I am a bad secret keeper, and since I will have to tell people at work in case I start getting sick ( I am a waitress), we decided to tell out family at christmas. I will be getting a blood test done prior to confirm and date it. We both just though it would be so so cute to address our parents gifts to "grandma and grandpa" and then watch as they go from confused to realization!

Well, my dr said o dont need a blood test. Even though I am still early ( my first missed period would actually have started tommorrow), I have had 4 positive tests. She says that is a pretty definate yes, and that I can wait on a blood test till the first prenatal visit. Yay! So if I am going by my lmp I should be due about the week of aug 22. I am sure that is subject to change, but if it is ealier, that is ok too! Anyways, I have the period-like cramping too, off and on all day usually. My friend at work who is 12 weeks says she is still getting them and not to worry, it is just the uterus growing and the ligaments and muscles stretching out.
Also have very very sore breasts, and a little dizzy off and on. One or two times got a tiny bit nauseaus, but not too bad ( yet..Lol). Some smells are really awful to me, I didnt think that happened till a bit later, but I can't stand the smell of some of the stuff in my fridge, and at work there are some foods that just disgust me to smell. ( or look at)
other than that, I am very early on, maybe 4 weeks? So I will update when I have more news :)
good luck to all the other august 2006 mommy's to be!

Thanks :) but it's probably better this way. I'm not even 20 yet (next month) and i'm still in university. So it's a good thing I guess. As much as I wanted to be... I can wait til i'm really more ready and better prepared. :)
