What are some treatments for fevers and
should you be kept warm to sweat out a
fever or should you remain cool with the
hope of bringing your temperature down?

Taking a warm shower and drinking hot tea
might help bring it down. Keeping hot in
blankets wont help much though. Just
drink lots of fluids and take medicine

Fevers aren't common with colds. If you
experience a low grade fever, don't treat
it. It is your body's way of fighting
the illness. For children, a general
rule is to leave them alone if they are
101 or under. For adults, 100 and under.
Children tolerate higher temps much
better than adults. If the fever is not
low grade, it's most likely not the flu.
Tylenol and ibuprofen (advil and motrin
are both ibuprofen) are good for fevers.
Don't take both. And don't take a
medication for multiple symptoms and
tylenol or ibuprofen. Odds are you will
be taking an overdose. Check
ingredients. Don't duplicate. More is
not better.
