How is your relationship with the guy? Is
this someone that you would want to be
attatched to for the rest of your life
(whether or not you marry)? If you're
thinking about abortion, then it's up to
you and your partner, if you're not ready
for parenthood and don't like the idea of
abortion, do a search for an adoption
agency now.

Yes im with the father (kyle). I called
him as soon as I took the test and told
him and he seems just suckers as I am. I
dont know if I want this baby, I mean I
love kids and I have been babysitting
since I was like 11 and even before that I
would help my mom with younger kids. Im
more concern about the money part of all
this. I dont even have health insurance
and neither does kyle. I dont even know
where to go from here, I cant go to my
family doctor because like I said I have
no health insurance so I guess I go to a
clinic??????? Im sooo lost about all
this. I know I could never get an
abortion, I dont have it in me to do that.
And I think adoption is a wonderful thing
but I dont think I could ever give my baby
away. So I would say yes I want to keep
this baby I just dont know how I can. Im
sorry if im rambeling on im just a lil
stressed. Thankx ~jess

Finding out your pregnant is very scary
when your not expecting it. First off,
you need to get to a doctor so they can
make sure everything is okay and get you
on some prenatal vitamins. Do you live
in america?? You need to find out where
to apply for medicaid and do that.
Medicaid will pay for all your medical
bills and so forth and w=once the baby is
born you can add him or her onto it.
That's the first thing....Have you told
your parents?

When I first found out I was pregnant, I
was just like you, didnt know what I was
going to do, I was thinking abortion and
all that, but givie it time to sink in,
eventually you will get excited about it
and look forward to having a baby. I had
my daughter september 17th, and I couldnt

If you say you can't afford a baby, then I
highly suggest adoption, because even
though you love your baby deeply, you have
no job, and no insurance, and i'm not sure
what your career objectives are. How wilu
provide for your baby? Again, I don't
know you financial status, or how much
your parents are willing to help, but
understand that a baby takes a lot of
dedication and babies are very expensive
over the years (not to mention the fact
that they grow up). Just be honest with
yourself and understand the facts.

I had my fisrt baby when I was 17 then my
second when I was 18. I would do to a
public assistance office asap and get on
medcaid or most starts have a seprate
program for pregnant women and for
children. I had both my kids in alaska
and it was denali kid care there, here in
florida they have a florida kid care
program. Either way the public
assistance office will be able to point
you in the right direction. Personaly I
wouldn't go to planned parenthood they
will try and push you to an abortion (from
my experance anyways). Wether you choose
to adopt, keep or have an abortion do alot
of research on it. Don't feel like you
have to give up your baby there are people
are programs that help. I'm sure that it
would have been easier to give my kids up,
but I wouldn't do that for the world. We
don't have tons of money and we live pay
check to pay check but I wouldn't trade it
for the world! As of right now we aren't
on any type of public assistance, but it
did help when I was younger. Now I just
turned 22 in oct and my kids are 3 and 4.

My sister in law just had her first (shes
23) her boyfriend works for mcdonalds like
20 hours a week and they live with my
inlaws. She and the baby are on medicaid
and she went to the same doctor I did and
the government paid for it all. She chose
not to nurse ( u could call me one of
those moms who doesnt care just whips it
out in public with a blanket, hey babies
got eat and its free) so she also has wic
(women infants and children) that pays for
food, formula, and I think she can get
diapers 2 (if so she hasnt cuz thats what
everyone gave her for babyshower) so I
think u can do it you may not be able to
afford lots of stuff u want but if u want
to keep your baby there are plenty of ways
to do it and well. Good luck!
(id say I believe in you but that makes me
sound like an episode of full house or
something else sappy. Thank u pregnancy
hormones! )
