I just had my period a few weeks ago but it was really weird, I usually have a strong flow the first 2-3 days and on the 4th-5th it's usually gone. This time my period lasted 8-9 days and it was a very weak flow. The consistency of my period was also different, it was very watery. Now I am having slight back pains and spotting. I am not due till the third week of december so I don't want to worry about it as much. I would like to think that maybe my back is aching due to a muscle spasm or something but I am keeping an open mind. Is it best to just wait and see if I get my period or to take a test right away? What other reasons could there be for my symptoms? As much as my boyfriend and I love each other, we are not ready for this type of responsibility. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
