Hi, im new to this forum. Recently I
found out I was pregnant. I just turned
sixteen years old. In the state of
maryland do you need parental notification
to have an abortion? Thanks..

Why not talk to your parents, after they
get over the shock they will probably
understand more than what you think, after
all nobody is perfect.
You might want to take this to the
abortion forum!
Good luck!

Well, after alot of thinking I set up an
appointment this weekend for a local
anesthesia surgical abortion where as they
insert anesthesia in your cervix through a
needle and basically as they said `vaccum`
the embryo out. This decision was the
best for my situation which I perfer not
to explain the whole thing, but has anyone
ever had an surgical abortion through
local anesthesia? Was there any pain
through the process or afterwards? My
doctor says when they use the `vaccum` it
basically hurts a little bit more than an
ordinary menstrual cramp. Im really
nervous about this and im sure this will
have a greater impact on me later in life.
