2months Late And Negative Hpt Help Please Posted: 12-07-05 15:51pm
Okay the first day of my last period was
sept 21, i've missed 2 periods. My
nipples are sore, but i've also noticed a
slight discomfort while having sex, not
sure what that is.. Anyway i've taken
two at home pregnancy tests, and they both
came back negative. I did one in the
evening, and one in the morning. I'm
currently out of town, but I went to the
dr and he told me to wait until I was 4
months late, as the reason i'm late is
most likely due to stress... As
grosse as this may sound i've also had an
increased amount of discharge, and noticed
that its thicker. Any idea if the dr
could be wrong, as well as the at home
tests? Or what else it could be?
Other info, I was not taking the birth
control pill, my period has been known to
be irregular, but never 2 months late.
The dr didn't do any tests he just asked
me how late, and if I was stressed or an
athlete.
My fiance and I would appreciate any input
from you, thanks in advance!

There is a good possibility that you are
pregnant. But you should get a ultrasound
done just to be sure.

Im in the same boat. My last period was
sep 28. I took a ton of tests and they
all came back negative. I'm trying to
wait it out a little longer before I go to
the Dr. I felt kinda crampy for the past
2 days but still no period. This is very
unusual for me. Keep us updated.

Pretty much same here as her, last time
was aug. 1st and then at the end of
august I had my period, so I never thought
anything about it, yes I have been under a
lot of stress... And the hpt show
negitive.... So what now???

Ya it's stressful not knowing... When the
dr asked me if I was stressed I was like
umm ya when my period is 2 months late and
i'm not sure why, of course i'm going to
be stressed... I am also planning my
wedding, but I haven't been stressed about
anything so far. I also have ulcerative
colitis which is triggered by stress, so I
mean if I were stressed, I would most
definately know it... But i've been out
of town for a few weeks, and won't be home
until christmas, and then I have to go
back out of town again for a few more
weeks, so I don't really have time to see
my family Dr.... I might just go to
urgent care when I get home and see if
they can tell me.. But anyway it's good
to know i'm not the only one who is still
in the dark about all of this.. Good luck

Yeah, false negatives are apparently sort
of common. You should get tested for
std's though because that could be messin'
with your system and giving you those
symptoms.

So hows it going natty? I'm still late,
no period for me. The last time I had my
period was sep 28, and no spotting or
anything since. Me and my boyfriend did
have unproctected sex and we still do.
The last time I took a test was about 2
weeks ago and it was negative. I don't
really have any symptoms but one day out
of nowhere my mom said "you're getting
kind of fat, and your butt looks bigger"
that was strange, because my boyfriend
says the same. I don't see it though.
To me I look and feel like my normal
self.
I'm getting sick and tired of taking those
tests though. I'm trying to wait it out
to see if my period comes.
I was cramping for a few days and I though
it was coming because I had that feeling
but it never came. Im not even cramping
anymore.
My breast are a tad bit fuller, but they
don't hurt or anything.

Me and husband are to have a baby took a
lot of test nothing so the doctor but me
on birthconrol still nothing so what do
you think we should do the only thing it
mad me sick.

So did anyone get a positive preg test?
Cuz I am going on two months late as
well...But I am not under no stress, just
