*new* Blood Pressure Has Been High *questions* Posted: 12-11-05 01:32am
I am 21 and I have gained weight in the
last 2yrs. I am on 11 diff meds and a
mon ago I was on 16.
Since I was put on lots of meds and gained
a lot of wieght my blood pressure jumps up
and down. For the past 2wks at night my
face gets hot and red and I get shaky and
dizzy. I just started checking my bp
3days ago at night...1st reading-166/133
2nd-155/138 3rd-142/110. My pulse is
usually around 65. My normal blood
pressure ranges from 110/85-135/105. It
jumps around a lot. Evertime I go into a
dr's office its always differnt.
My symptoms-shaky, dizzy, sick to my
stomach, blurred vision, bad short term
memory, headaches...I dont know if any of
these have to do w/ this but thats how ive
been feeling.
Background on me- I am insulin resistant I
have spondylosis and radiculitis, nerve
damage, pinched nerve, thyroid disease, I
havent had a period in 4mons(no im not
pregnant). W/ the insulin resistance my
sugar is never above 110 even right after
I eat...And lately it has been in the
130's...Today I ate dinner and I waited
3hrs after and it was 134. I tooke it
again 2hrs later and it was 109.
Does anyone have any clue what is going on
w/ my body?? Please help...Should I go
see someone and who?
