Am scared I could be pregnant. My cycle
has always been regular, but I havent had
a period since october, and it was a very
irregular period. I started on september
29th. It stopped the 1st of october.
Started again on the 2nd and and ended the
3rd. Now I just happened to have sex on
the day I stopped (the 1st). November
comes along and I never had a period, so I
took 4 hpts and blood pregnancy test and
they all came out negative. No other
sypmtoms of pregnancy either.
On nov. 19th my bf and I had unprotected
sex, I went to the doctor and got the
morning after pill and they gave me otc-lo
to start. My doctor told me after 2 weeks
it should be okay to have sex, so we
waited the 2 weeks and actually we just
finally had sex last night (its been 3
weeks now). I start my placebos today but
after I havent had a period for so long im
just really scared and worried, im so
stupid. I have so many people telling me
different things, like I shouldve waited
longer than 2 weeks to start having sex,
or because I took it in the middle of the
month I didnt get a period it wont work
right, etc. Help! I dont want to be
pregnant!

Ok relax... You can always have another
early pregnancy blood or even a pee test
done, that way you can definitively know.
You need to take birth control for 7 days
for it to work, so if you did wait a week
to have sex, then you truly should be
okay.
Secondly if you are pregnant you have many
options open to you, including abortion
and adoption. The main thing right now is
to know, so I recommend taking a test.

Basically I just want to know if i'll be
okay since it was only exactly 3 weeks
when I started having unprotected sex. I
started my placebos the morning of the
sexual activity. I was also wondering if
the ecp I took during the first week of my
birth control would affect my protection
in any way. I think im just freaked but
id like to hear it from someone else.

You did everything like you were supposed
to. Placebos are meant for you to have a
period, so you don't need to use any
backup. You waited for more than 7 days
which is great. It may take a few days of
being off placebos for you to get a
period. Also because of ecp you may not
get a period because of the whacko
hormones. A pregnancy test would be
accurate. Keep taking your pills. I
believe you should be just fine
