If you are a lupus patient, and your syptoms are rash on your face. Could you wear make on your face epecially powder?..If anyone know what I can do to solve this problems?

Hi cindy...Nice to meet you!

There are several things that I know of to help with the lupus' malar rash.

1) use a specialized, creamy make up. Everyone has their "choice" make up...I use mary kay. A friend of mine swears by clinique...There is also one called dermablend that is speciafically made for rashes and scars. Try and see what works best for you! Smile

2) are you using steroidal cremes from a dermatologist? Those can go a long way...You will need a prescriptions for them.

3) I also use cold compresses two or three times a day. It keeps the heat and rash on my face to a minimum.
