Decrease Effectiveness?

The label says if you are experiencing vomiting you decrease the effectiveness. Does throwing up once count? And how long should you wait again for it to be effective?

If you vomit less than 1-2 hours after taking a pill it probably did not get a chance to fully absorb. Many docs say after 2 hours is pretty safe. You need to have 7 full days of pill use for it to be effective. If it is your period week and you are starting them on your period, most docs agree you are protected immediately. It is called a day 1 start if you start on your period.
