I am not sure if this is the "proper"
place for this or not, but I was wondering
when it is possible to "test" for
paternity.
I had "protected" sex with a girl a month
and a half ago and she just called me and
said it was possible I was the father.
She "says" that she has only been with one
other guy before and after me and he is
"snipped". I really dont' believe or
.....Or him for that matter. He may have
just been saying that. Plus, I have
heard and read that their can be
complications in a vasectomy, especially
if you dont' do the "follow-up" stuff.
I used a condom and even pulled out before
I came and came on her back. So, I know
wit is possible, but highly unlikely that
I could have gotten her pregnant. So
basically I am curious how soon I can take
a test and the "baby"....So I can get some
sleep!

Oh yeah.....Btw, she said she did have her
period about a week or so after we had
sex. Dunno if that really matters or not

Well, it seems low that you would have
fathered this child, but a paternity test
is the only way to know for sure and you
can't get that child tested until after
its born because it could cause serious
damage if done before. Good luck with all

Well, the "snipped" guy got the results
back and has 10,000 plus sperm count. So
that is good news

You require at least 5 million sperm to be
able to fertilize an egg because of the
amount that get killed before even
reaching the fallopian tubes. Therefor 10
000 is great news!

The doc said that he had 10's of
thousands.....So I assumed that was like
30 - 40 thousand or so. I thought that
was pretty good news cuz he was supposedly
"snipped" and it was looking like I was
the only other guy
now, did you mean that it only takes 5,000
or 5 million when you typed that up
their!??

5 million. Like I said on average (and
give or take some because those sperm can
be sneaky) it takes approximately 5
million sperm to successfully fertilize an
egg

If she had her period after you had sex,
the chances of you fathering the baby is
very slim. Sperm has a shelf life of 5
days after it leaves you, and if she had
her period that basically cleans out the
uterus so basically no.

I would say the chances of you being the
father is so slim. When you say you wore
a condom, did you just take it off right
before you ejaculated on her back? If
that's the case I would say you are not
the father. If weren't wearing a condom,
even if you pulled out it is still
possible to have gotten her pregnant. By
the way, I had a period after conceiving
and was very much pregnant. So, I don't
think that really matters.
I would say it isn't yours if you are
being completely honest. I would try
having a serious conversation with her.
It seems more possible that the other man
involved is the father of the child. Hope
