Over the past year or so I have been
getting tremors in my fingers whenever I
go to do something, these tremors are for
the most part always present but range in
severity, it seems the more I exert myself
physically, the worse they become. I
heard someone mention an "intention
tremor" that kind of helps me describe the
tremor itself, it only happens when I go
to do something with my fingers that it
does it. For example if I try to put my
finger very close to an object without
touching it, it will shake. Right now if
I slowly reach for a specific key on my
keyboard with one finger it will shake.
On most severe occasions, say after i've
been lifting weights or doing pushups or
working in construction all day, lifting
a fork to my mouth will cause a tremor in
my hand. I've been researching on the
internet and found that there are a number
of neurological disorders that can be
related to this and quite frankly, it is
starting to scare me, anything from
huntington's disease to parkinsons
disease, the reason this scares me the
most is that i'm only 19 years old, so
these could just be the start of something
greater. Please if someone could tell me
what this could be and if it is as serious
as I fear it might be I would greatly
appreciate it.
