Don't be afraid to tell your parents.
They have to know, considering you are
only 14 years old and can't take care of
the baby alone. I am sure they with be
understanding, and that they will be
upset, but, that is to be expected.
You can always put your baby up for
adoption, abortion isn't the only answer.
Hon, I hope you figure everything out.
You are still very early on in your
pregnancy, so I don't worry your head
about every single aspect! Good luck!

All I can say is tell your parents you
never know what their reaction may
be..Because when I told my granma I
thought she may kill me but nothing like
that happened.

Im not as younge as you are. But when I
frist got pregnant and told my mom she
fliped out and started yelling at me
saying I wasn't alowed to keep it. A
month or so latter I found out all the
thing she said wernt true and the only
reason she seid them was cuz she was
scared. I am now almost 5 months and mom
is ok with it, she is even buying stuff
for the baby and everything.
The best thing you can do is tell your
parents right away, it will be easyer on
you and them. Trust me.

The longer you wait to tell them the worst
it is for them to handle...

When I asked my mom what she would do if I
ever got pregnant, she said the same
thing, well except for the abortion thing.
She said that she would throw me out,
but at 18 years old, a senior in high
school, I got pregnant, and when I told
her, she didn't throw me out, she cried
and said I failed her. I am 20 years old
now, and I still live with my mom and dad.
Telling your parents is not an easy
thing to do, but trust me, they will
respect your decision. Yes, you may have
made a "bad" decision to have sex at such
a young age, but just prove to them that
you can handle the consequences and the
responsibility of having a kid, if you
want to keep him/her. (oh and I don't
think you are bad for having sex that
early... I'm just saying from a mom and
dad's point of view) also, the way you
can tell your parents, is to have them sit
at like, the dinner table... With no
food, cause you never know if that would
get thrown around... Just sit down with
them, by yourself, if you want, and tell
them. Mom, dad, I love you guys, and I
have something to tell you, that will hurt
you, and I hope you forgive me and support
me, but the thing is, i'm pregnant, and
i'm sorry. Every parent will be shocked
and angry... There are soo many emotions
that will come out of them, but just let
them let it out, anything they tell you or
ask you, just say i'm sorry. You don't
want to let it get too heated, when it
already is, you know? The outcome of all
this will be turn out ok. I thought my
life was over when I got pregnant, but my
aunt told me, that it was just a beginning
of a new book into my life. And she's
right. With every year that my son has a
birthday, is a new chapter for me, like in
3 months, he'll be 2... Well good luck
with everything, and if you need advice,
email me at zengki0
423@yahoo.Com. Good luck!

There is only a yolk sac developed at 4
weeks. How could you have seen your baby?

No one can make you have an abortion, but
it can be daunting if your parents
threaten to kick you out if you don't
erminate the pregnancy. You are indeed
quite young and will have no money to
support the baby because you're too young
to get a job. Most parents, especially
moms, are very compassionate toward their
daughters if they get pregnant. Some,
though, are very heartless. I do know of
a young girl whose mom did make her have
an abortion, and the girl was very broken
up about it because she had been carrying
twins.
Also, how old is your boyfriend? If he is
18 or older, your parents could be major
suckers and get him thrown in jail on
charges of statuatory rape.
One final thing - have you ever considered
adoption? You would not be terminating
the pregnancy, but you would also not be
keeping and caring for the baby. It's
usually the best choice for the woman [of
any age] who doesn't want her child but
doesn't want to abort. At such a young
age, your body is not yet fully developed
and you may have some complications during
pregnancy. I know that teenagers are at
a bit of a higher risk for ecclampsia and
preeclampsia, which can be fatal to both
you and the child.
Before telling your parents, do consider
all your options - it's your baby and you
can decide what you want to do with it.
Don't let your mom pressure you into
getting an abortion if you don't want it.
Even if she did kick you out, there are
shelters for pregnant teenagers who have
been kicked out. No one is going to let
a pregnant girl freeze to death in a back
alley.
Good luck to you - I pray you can find the
answers you seek and that you make make
the right decision. No one can tell you
what's right, because there is no wrong
choice.

How did you see the baby at around 4
weeks? Even for transvaginal thats way
early to actually see the baby. And
theres no way you would of seen it through
abdominal. I had an transvaginal
ultrasound done at 5weeks 5days and only
saw the gestational sac, didn't see the
heartbeat or anything. I had another done
at almost 8 weeks and saw the sac with a
little heartbeat so small it looked like a
flickering flea.
The baby at that early would look like a
little bitty bean lol. It's still a baby
though!
I don't know what to say really, your
really young & have your whole life
ahead of you, I don't know why you girls
worry so much about your life being over
with when you have a baby and so on. Your
life gets better, you learn more at a
early age & even though sometimes it
gets rough you have to tell yourself its
not always going to be like this, things
do get better, and they will get better.
Your parents support is very very needed
in the situation your in, especially for
being only 14. You need your parents....
I've always been really close with my mom,
I just told her one day that I thought my
period was late, so we sat down &
figured out when my last period was and
she said okay, in the morning i'll go to
the store and we'll get a test. So in the
morning she woke me up & we literally
took the test together.
It's gonna be hard sometimes, i'm not
gonna lie to you. But your the one that
makes the best of things, your the one
that has to make choices not only for
yourself now, but for a baby aswell.
Pm me if you ever need to talk to someone.

I think most the 12-14 yr old post in here
...Are fake ...Half them say crap that
isn't even normal or even possible....But
you never know in todays world....Alot of
children don't receive the attention they
need at home I guess....But yeah 4 months
is a little to early to receive a
ultrasound and be able to tell what is
what....Because truely it does look like a
little bean floating...Lol ...But I
figured out the sex of my baby at 17
weeks...But anyways if you are preggo
....Then congrats and good luck cause you
will sure need it at your age...Im 18 with
a 5 month old and I can tell you from the
experience its hard!!!!And I know it will
be 10x that on you considering how young
you are .....What were you thinking having
sex ....At 14?Oh yeah its 2005 thats the
cool thing now I forgot....

Well...I told my mom. Wow she freaked out
and started yelling and screaming at me
but I let her. I knew she was gunna be
angry. She told me that she was gunna
take me to get an abortion but I told her
no. So she told me that I could live
there until the baby was born but then I
had to get out. I havent decided if I am
gong to give it up for adoption yet but I
am considering it. I am not fake and as
soon as I get bigger...It will be a while
probably lol....I will post up pics.
Well congragulations on your pregnancy and
telling your mom! That took a lot of
courage. I was 17 when I got pregnant and
I was terrified but things turned out okay
(she was very calm actually!) I am now 18
and 32 weeks pregnant. I know you will
choose the best option for you and your
baby. If you do choose to give your baby
up for adoption you can have an open
adoption, where you can choose the family,
and they will send you pictures and or
videos of the baby as it grows and maybe
even let you have visitation rights. It's
something to look into. Congragulations
again :c)

i have to say i'm with you.
1. Why would you be good friends with
your doctor? I mean, I know my mum's
friends very well and sure they're nice
people and sure i'd be comfortable being
alone with them. I'd chat to them as I do
with my friends. But I wouldn't say we
are "good friends". It's not like your 30
or 40 year old doctor is going to hang
around a 14 year old. And even still, it
doesn't matter. Ultrasounds cost money.
It costs money to buy the machine and run
the machine and so forth. They're not
just going to give out free ones.
2. She's 4 weeks pregnant, and 2 weeks
late for her period. Now forgive me, it's
almost midnight and I am very very tired
but that means that she was only like 2
weeks pregnant when she missed her period?
Or found out? I don't think that's even
possible. I thought it could take up to a
week after sex to even concieve and then a
while after that for the fertalized egg to
travel down and embed in the uterus.
Anyway, it's very fast to have found out,
been to the doctor and had an ultrasound.
Most women are 5 or 6 weeks along before
they even find out, let alone booking a
doctors appointment.

1. Dont dont think that being good
friends with the doc. Means hanging
around them everyday and talking. Proably
she has known the doc. All her life. And
thats how they are friends. Some docs can
bend the rules for patients like a tattoo
artist can do free tattoos for ppl yeah it
cost money, but they still do it.
2. I actually found out two weeks after
having sex that I was preg. Just because
we kind of knew it would happen.
Conception can take place 48hrs after sex.
And also once ur pregnant u have the
pregnancy hormone in u. You dont know
what kind of test she took. Clear blue or
what ever, she can most likely be telling
the truth, but since neither u or I know
her all we have to do it believe her until
something proves otherwise
but for the poster, its going to be hard
but keep your head up and follow through
with ur desicion. God doesnt give u more
then u can handle, some ppl just like to
think he has. And dont let anyone say u
wont finish school or u wont succeed. U
can and if u want to u will

My mother in law is a receptionist at the
hospital in radiology and I got a free
ultrasound with my daught and lots of
pics. And technically when counting how
far along you are they count 14 days from
your last period so that would make her 4
weeks.
