Can Someone Help Me Determine Who's the Father?

I slept with my exgirlfriend (i still love
her) on nov 12. She might or might not
have her period on nov 15. She said it
was not her normal looking period, not to
mention she has irregular cycle (72 days
is her avg). She slept with her current
bf on the 21. We took 5 home home
pregnancy tests and they were all
positive. Took her to get an ultrasound
on dec 16, and nothing showed. My
question is, on a normal 28 day cycle, the
baby would not be mine. But since she
has irregular cycle does the negative
sonogram mean that the baby is not mine?
Someone please help me. Thank you.

Ok well with this whole thing it looks
like she is pregnant. Has she taken a
blood test? You might have her do that.
Then the only thing is a dna test once the
baby is out. There isnt much to do but
guessing isnt going to help much. Just
wait and find out. Which one of you used
protection?

You'll have to get a paternity test to be
sure!
Good luck,

Wouldn't the sonogram show some sign as to
when the baby was conceived? The first
12 weeks of the embyro/baby's development
is all the same. So couldn't I tell
when the baby was conceived by the
sonogram? Our sonogram on tuesday dec 16
was negative. If we conceived on nov
12, that would have been 4 to 5 weeks and
the heart would began to beat and would
show on the sonogram, but since there was
nothing on the sonogram, wouldn't this
indicitate that the embyro is still too
young to detect?

You could try that, but the best thing is
waiting for the test. You dont want to
take chances on guessing.

Did I mentioned that this will determine
whether she keeps the baby or not? So I
need a medical guess or some way to
determine who's the father. Thank you to
all for your help and advise.

You can never be completely sure, you will
have to wait to get a paternity test.
They have them available before the baby
is born, but they are risky. If I were
you I would just wait until the baby is
born...And in the mean time support her as
if the baby is yours, cuz you don't want
to put her down, or put the baby at any
risk, if it is yours. Some hospitals
will do paternity tests for free within
the first 24 hours. This is something
that you should look into.
Good luck,
jennifer

A baby is a baby...No matter who the
father is. You need to get her some
counceling! And if you have any concern
for this child...Tell her that you think
it is yours, until you can find out.

Jennifer,
how can I find more about this paternity
test before the baby is born. And also,
I am more than happy to support her, but
if I treat the baby as if it was mine,
then she would be more incline to abort
it. She does not want to have my baby,
she wants to have his baby. If I tell
her the baby is mine then she will most
likely abort it, and I don't want her to
abort it. So I need some medical advise
as well.

Well, this paternity test before the baby
is born is called an amniocentesis. It
carries a little more than a slight risk
of miscarriage. It can also determine the
sex of the baby. This test is primarily
done between weeks 14 and 20 of pregnancy.
And the ultrasound might not have showed
a heartbeat because according to what i've
read, the heart does not begin to beat
until about 6 weeks gestation. But i'm
not positive. If it is yours, I will hope
that your ex does not abort it. That
would be a very selfish thing to do. She
slept with you (obviously unprotected) and
now she wants to complain if its your baby
and not this other guys. Ok. (dreams
about smacking the girl) lol sorry I know
you love her but it makes me very angry
she would do that. Is it possible that
you could raise this baby without her if
it is yours? Maybe you could talk her
into having it, and support the child
yourself. I don't know if this is an
option for you, but i'll be wishing you
good luck and keep you in my thoughts.

Sounds like your girl has some issues.
Like the other post said, a baby is a baby
and if she is willing to abort a child
because of who the father is then she
shouldn't have had sex with you! No
offense, but she took that chance. You
can look online for the before birth
paternity test. But, all she would have
to do is call her doctor. Good luck.

Patnerity Testing...

Hey hey
hey I am 38 weeks pregnant... And your
question on patnerity.. Well when the
sonogram can actually show the baby there
are average measurements that will be
taken and compared to a growth chart which
will give u a rough idea of when the baby
was concieved.. For dna testing there is
nothing you can do until the child is
born... Well I shouldnt say nothing but
it is a drastic step and can cause
problems... The mother can have a test
preformed that takes tissue samples from
the growing fetus and is tested... This
invloves going into the uterus and and
they dont exactly know what they could be
touchin with this needle... For after the
baby is born there r dna tests.. In
canada they r not covered by medical and
they run anywhere from 300$ to 1000$
dollars... I know this because I am
having my childs father question if it is
his...
Hope this helped
