My wife is 3 weeks pregnant, she started
to complain about on and off sharp
abdominal pains 2 days ago, but the doctor
said not to worry, and now she says she's
having a light period, could this be a
misscarriage?
Thanks in advance for any replies

It could be a misscarriage, but unless
shes bleeding through a pad w/ in an hour
and having severe cramps I wouldn't worry
to much. I also have sharp abdominal
pains but my doctor said that is perfectly
normal its probably just the uterus
stretching. I'm 18 weeks and get on and
off cramping and pains just about everyday
and so far the baby is prefectly fine as
far as we can tell. But to be on the safe
side you might want to goto the doctor
just to makes sure your babys alright.
Good luck!

I agree with mommi2bee. Check it out with
your doc. It is probably just light
spotting associated with the pregnancy.
The cramps/pains are normal as well. Good
luck.

Thanks for your help, she went to the
doctor and he run a couple of tests and
said not to worry, I will know the results
in a couple of days.
But the pain and the "light period"
continue so i'm still a bit concerned
