Very Faint Line Shown Positive In Pregnancy Tester Posted: 12-16-05 03:41am
Hello, I am about dpo (day after
ovolution) 16 today, and at dpo 11, I feel
fatigue, nipple sore and sensitive, so I
took a pregnancy test, it was negative.
And at the dpo 13 morning, I took one
more, it shown a very very faint line
until I have to ask my hubby to check if
there is a line. In order to make sure I
take one more at the same night (cannot
wait - we are trying to conceive for the
first one). I read the result after 1
minute. Not more then 5 minutes. And
it came out same as the morning result -
very very faint positive line. Again I
take it on dpo15 night, with other brand
, also a very faint line. Today is dpo
16 and I will take one tomorrow morning
before I go for gyno on monday which would
be dpo 19.
I heard that " a line is a line" anybody
have the same experience?

Hey Posted: 12-21-05 13:20pm
I found out I was pregnante this sunday
and had it confirmed just yesturday. (im
5 weeks *yay*) when talking to the nurse
who was going over things with me I
explained that one of the lines on one of
mine was faint..And she herself said "a
line is a line..If you see it @ all..Ur
pregnante" ..But I had also taken the
digital 4 times too that said pregnante
because like yourself...I questioned taht
faint line. So good luck to you, and I
hope were right :)!

When I had my daughter the line was very
faint and my partner was covinced it
wasn't there. I rang the manufacturer and
they said even a faint line shows a
detection of hcg and that I was definatley
pregnant.
2 days later I did another test and 2 dark
lines showed up.
I'd say from my expereince that you are
pregnant. Please let us know

Your Prego!!! Posted: 01-05-06 08:57am
Just to confirm what everyone has
experinced!
The test checks for certain hormones with
out detection no line at all ( or the test
way of saying neg.).
I have never heard of any one truly
getting a positve when they were not.
Congragulations! :d
it really is exciting!

You're pregnant!!!! :d
congratulations!!!
The faint line means that it's most likely
in the very early stages.
Very same thing happened to me.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Get to a doctor soon. You will see!
So happy for you!

I just took a test and I think there may
be a faint line. Should the line be
immediately under the top line? This line
is a bit further doen. Maybe I should try
another brand? Thanks

Congratulations Your Pregnant! Posted: 01-09-06 08:06am
I too had the same experience... I did
several hpt all came back negetive but I
was testing too early and the hormone
levels were not strong enough to be picked
up at just over 3 weeks! Tested early
this morning and I got a "postive" result.
I am now 4 weeks pregnant.
My result was excatly like yours very
faint line which of course I questioned
even ringing the manufacture of the
pregnancy test.
Yes I line is a line....
Congratulations to you.
Big hugs from australia!

Exactly. A line is a line.
A faint line sometimes indicates lower
hormone levels, but... A line is a line!
