I have gained around 35 pounds since my
bypass. I lost 85 pounds in the first 4
months, but have gained in the last 6
mths. I just found out that I have an
ulcer too. Anyone else??

Just searching through and found this
site. Yes! I had my surgery back in 99 .
I initially lose 100 pounds, and slowly
have gained about 25 back. Now I am
having great difficulty losing even 1 or 2
pounds . I made an appointment with the
barix treatment center to have them look
around. Of course they tell me to go back
to the 6 small meals a day, which I admit
to not following.
It seems that with all the calorie cutting
and activity I can only maintain not lose.
This is very frustrating so I can relate
to your post. How long has it been since
your surgery? :o

I had my surgery 8/2003. My dr says that
I just need to change my eating habits and
start working out. I really hate myself
for letting this go. The dr did say that
having the ulcer makes you feel hungry so
you eat even though you do not need to.
I will get through this and so will you.
Good luck!
