Q: Disinfect Objects Touched By Warts?

I have a common wart on my finger. Its was uncovered(and unnoticed) for about a year. Im worried that the warts can spread from the objects to skin even though the wart hasnt touched those objects in a year and a half. Should I disinfect those objects, or is it not necessary to do so?

I have never had a wart so I cannot tell you for sure. But if you are so worried about it, then why don't you just disinfect those items anyway? I mean, just take some lysol disinfectant and spray your playstation remote, tv remote, telephone and whatever else you come in frequent contact with. It will probably only take you five minutes.

Thanks
Ok thanks for your opinion. Though I may not need to do that since I have had the wart covered for a year and a half and I never cleaned the wart touched objects and I havent gotten any other wart.(i would've developed another wart by now but I never did. But im still unsure of it. I mean theres alot of things that have been touched by my wart. Alot of cd cases, game cases, mp3 player and many more, thats why im asking this question about whether or not I should disinfect all of those things. If theres anyone else who can answer this forum please do so, I will greatly thank anyone who does.

Ive been told by my fairly reliable family doctor that it is extremely unlikely that anybody would get warts by merely touching somthing that somebody with warts touched. Also I used to have about a dozen warts on my hands myself and touched pretty well whatever I pleased around the house I was enver careful about it at all. And none of my family ever has had a wart but me so I have no reason to disbelieve what my very rather reliable family doctro told me.

Worried About Getting Warts Myself
I thank you for replying. You're right, I shouldnt worry about it, after all, my mom and sister live with me, and they never got any of my warts even though theyve touched my wart touched things. But whom im woried about getting warts is myself. Im still unsure as to whether or not I should disinfect my stuff because im still unsure if I could still get other warts from touching the stuff.(i still have that wart on my finger and it never spread for the whole 2 and a half years ive had it for). If any other of you ppl could reply to me about if I should still disinfect those objects or not, I would be even more thankful and will answer any of your questions if you have any, just tell me your question about your forum after answering mine. Thanks

Well.. Some Stuff Disinfected Many More to Go
Well... I disinfected my controllers and my computer and laptop with alcohol, plus some cd cases, but I still got 2 more machine controllers to go and many more cd's to go. If it isnt necessary to disinfect(especially the cd's and game cases) please let me know
