Rectal Pressure, Problem Solved Posted: 12-18-03 18:34pm
Hi everyone, well since my last post I
only had one response, I am trying the
homoeophobic remedies, anyway after
driving myself crazy trying to find out
why I have this pressure in my rectum and
bladder , I have done much research and
discovered there is a nerve in your lower
back, im not sure what the real name is
but in english its refered to as the
horses tail, and it hangs down towards
your rectum which will cause this terrible
sensations, that I have been experiencing,
good news is im really not crazy, bad news
I have to find a way to live with this.
Im posting this info incase anyone has
any injury to lower back, and has these
symptoms.

Actually there isnt to much out there, one
of the treatments I was just told about
was an injection into the base of your
tail bone, but its not a long term fix,
the problem comes from the back injury and
being I have 2 herniated disk in my lower
back I aslo have degenerative disk disease
thats whats causing my problem I was also
told that by the time I hit 50 mind you im
only 33 that this feeling will burn out,
or come september my doctors are now doing
complete disc removal and that would help
me, but there are so many risk, so
basically I have to live with it, I never
thought I would say this because no one
wants to get older but im looking foward
to 50, thanks for asking

Hmmmm..... Well, I have similar issues,
minus the herniated disc. I have some l-5
s-1 what they call "sacralization" which I
guess is kind of like a fusion of the
disks, as well as degenerative joint
disease (i am 4 - but this rectal
pressure "sitting on a bubble" sensation
is perpetual and awful. This forum does
help tho, just reading any information at
least lets me see what else it could
possibly be.... I am pretty much "on my
own" at this point. With an attitude
that I will not rest until I figure it
out. I am considering acupuncture, but
have never done anything like that
before!
Thank you for posting your issues....

Western approach is very scientific. You
find out the real cause and address it.
Oriental approach treats the whole body in
a holistic manner. I think the best one
can do is do take the best from both with
an open mind as long it does not appear
harmful. Go ahead and try acupunture.
What have you to lose? That people will
laugh at you? That you waste a liitle bit
of time/money?
Whether it is ddd or sliped disc or
whatever, it is not pathogenic and is
related to bad lifestyle or physical
damage. So the cure, other than surgery,
must be a total approach. Meaning an
active participant in your own healing and
not passively to be cured by
doctors/medicine.

For example, traditional chinese medical
principles says that spine problems are
also caused by weak kidneys. A western
mind cannot accept that. I cant offer any
prove but why can't one organ affect
another organ since there are all
related.
It does not matter whether you believe in
old fashioned traditional chinese
medicine. But it is good to take the
holistic total mind body approach to
healing and try to improve every aspect.
Like we chinese believe that once you get
the chi moving, a thousand pains will
disappear.

Does anyone know of any herbal or
homeopathic remedy for degenerative disk
disease, thats what is causing my rectal
pressure, and as far as the acupuncture,
ive done all the studies and yes based on
clinical studies its proven to help with
pain, as far as having pressure it wont
help, I do alot of exercising, deep
stretching, and use a tens unit every day,
although I dont feel as bad as I did 2
years ago its still there and my options
are surgery and there are to many risks
involved so if theres sometime type of
remedy please respond thank you

Back Pain And Rectum Pressure Posted: 10-24-05 15:06pm
I am learning that having so much back
trouble can be the cause of all sorts of
other problems....So if you have checked
out other leading causes for rectum pain
such as having a colonoscopy and still no
answers, perhaps the bad back is the
culprit. If anyone has more medical info
relating to this, let me know. Thanks!
