Hello-

i am 23 weeks pregnant, and yesterday was the first day in several weeks that I had not felt the baby pushing and stretching inside me. I wasn't feeling good the other day and I was doing a lot of christmas shopping and bending! I'm so scared...Is it possible to suffocate the baby inside you or cut off something inside of you by bending or sleeping on your back? If the baby isn't alive anymore, would I know it?
:(

Ok grab something cold and sweet to drink-coke is usually good. Drink it then lay down on your left side for half an hour. If you still feel absolutely nothing, get to your er. I rememeber there being days where I thought I felt nothing and when I got to the hosp the baby would go crazy-lol. I'm sure it's nothing, good luck, please let me know what happens!

I will be 23 weeks tomorrow. I have days where I do not really feel the baby move. Yes, that can be scary. It seems to happen on my most active days where I am on my feet most of the day. Usually by the end of the day when I lay down to go to sleep I feel movement. Either that, or the next day the baby really makes up for it by what feels like trying to punch through my stomach. Just give it some time. If you do not feel movement for two or more consecutive days that is when I would worry.
