I have been taking inderal propanorol for
over twenty years
and a couple of days ago I ran out and
started to get the
symptoms associated for not taking your
blood pressure
medicine. This included rapid heart beat
pulse and so forth.
I visited my local urgent care facility
and saw a doctor
who in return told me that my blood
pressure was 143 over
82 and proceeded to give me an ekg. I
informed him that i
had recently received a physical
examination several
months ago. He stated that the ekg was
normal which I had
figured from the start. He also stated
that I should not
be taking inderal because it is not for
black people to take.
He suggested taking toprol and wrote a
prescription for
it. Can someone enlighten me on this
because I have never
had a doctor tell me this?
thanks,
nate
