Hey ladies... And gentlemen if there are
any present. Forgive me for posting in
the pregnancy forum, but it seems that
this is a popular hang out spot for most.
I also posted this in the baby milestones.
Okay, my son is 5 months old today and
already has 5 teeth and he sits up very
well without any sort of support. All
that i'v read says that these things are
not suppose to be happening for a few more
months. Do you think that something is
wrong with my son. I know this may seem
like a stupid question but i'm just afraid
that he may have something wrong with him
that is causing him to develop to quickly.
Thank you all for reading, any replies
would be greatly appreciated.
God bless,
teresa

I'm the same way, trey is .V.E.R.Y
advanced for his age. He'll be 6 months
tomorrow. He's been sitting unsuported
since 3 1/2months and can stand with
little support, is almost crawling and can
play properly with his things. I keep
getting worried that he's autistic or
something but the doc said he's just a
smart healthy (he weighs 25 lbs!) boy.
I'm sure ryley is fine, some babies just
get teeth early.

Thanks lil blaze! You have a real cutie
on your hands!! (i saw the snow pic.) I
swear my son has the same cheeks!! Heee
heee!! Yep, ryley has been sitting alone
for about a week now and he also stands
with little support. I guess all babies
grow diffrent. I have a chubby one
also... He weighs in at about 20lbs now!
Big healthy boy! It doesn't even seem
like he is my 'baby' anymore... He is
growing so fast. Well, thanks again for
replying... Take care of your cutie pie!!
Oh, I wanted to ask you, is your son
holding is own bottle yet... If so, how
long has he been doing so??
God bless,
teresa

I think it is a little fast, but not
abnormal. My son got his first tooth at
4 months and my daughter got her first at
3 months old. My kids were both sitting
up at 5 months, so I think thats pretty
normal. At about 6 moths my kids were
starting to crawl and at 12 months there
are walking well.
Teresa, my oldest was the same.... He had
4 teeth at 5 months, sitting up, was even
saying sentences when he was just over a
year. He was extremely bright!
I wouldn't worry, be proud(which i'm sure
you are)!
