Q: How Long Did It Take For You?

I am 22 and have been trying to conceive since last month. Last month we had the attitude that if it happens, it happens. I didn't count to see when I was ovulating or anything. This month my husband and I had sex pretty much every day and I think I know when I ovulated. My mom said that for me and my brother it took only one try and she was pregnant. For me, she only had sex with my dad once that month because he was working away and she went find him on the day she ovulated. On the other hand, other people are telling me it took them months or even years.
I was wondering how long it took everyone and how old they were. I'm just curious.

I was on the pill for 12 years. I then went off the pill for a year with hubby, because we had the attitude if it happens it happens. Nothing. We got divorced, separated in february. I went back on the pill in march. Then new hubby and I decide to have kids right away. I quit the pill again in july. I got pregnant around july 26th.

I knew from july 21st to july 28th there was a possibility for me to conceive according to the online ovulation calendar. We had sex every day. Afterwards I would lay in bed for at least 30 minutes to help keep the fluids in. It is suggested you also prop a pillow under your butt for the same reason.
