This is regarding my great uncle.
He has diabetes.
Recently he has had these symptoms and the
docs don't know what it is yet.
-sweating, no fever
-pale
-low blood pressure (he normally has high)
-extreme shaking
-off balance (even fell!)
-disorientation
-slurred speech
-blood sugar is up.
I know the obvious is a stroke, but the
docs say it would only have been a low
grade stroke, but he's been having these
symptoms for a few days.
Any ideas would be appreciated so much.
Thank you,
dorothy

It could be that he is suffering from an
insulin shock. Has he been taking his
insulin regularly, not missing any doses?
Following his normal diet? Is he taking
any medication for his normal high bp (as
you've mentioned)? It may be the high bp
meds causing all these hypotension (low
bp) symptoms. I hope this helps.
