Hello my name is bobby and I was wondering if someone could inform me about some info I have on pregnancy. My gf found out a few days ago that she was pregnant and today we were having sex and she started to bleed I was cerious if this was normal or should we be worried. Thanks.

I would call the ob. Especially if she is having cramping. How far along is she?

Unfortunately, i'm a little late. But cramping and bleeding is not good. Usually when you are cramping and bleeding--it means your cervix is contracting and opening. Your cervix must remain closed to hold the baby. I had a miscarriage, and that is what happened. I started with light spotting, then bleeding, then cramping and bleeding.

I also had awful cramping the next time I got pregnant, that one was an ectopic pregnancy. I was bleeding that time too.

This 3rd time, I had very very light spotting, but no cramping. When I called my doc, he said that spotting is fine as long as there is no cramping. Or just cramping with no bleeding. I still have cramping and expect I will, probably until the end of my pregnancy. I am now 20 wks along.
