Is the Baby Moving? Posted: 12-22-05 11:31am
Hi guys! I've got a question? This is
my first pregnancy and i'm four and a half
months along. This morning I was sitting
down and leaning to the left to reach for
something when I got this really odd
feeling. It felt like a strong wave that
went from my left side to my right side.
Needless to say that I was very shocked
because I have never experienced anything
like that. I wondered about it for a
while...Now i'm thinking that it might
have been the baby moving for the first
time. Any idea if this could be? What
does it feel like when the baby moves?
Could the baby be moving this early?

Could possibly be baby moving, I can only
discribe the movements as bubbles in ya
tummy like when you have wind but more
stranger, i'm 5 and ahalf months now so I
see my baby move as well as feel her, and
it does infact feel strange, so you are
probably feeling the movement yes.

I started feeling movement at around
15wks. I felt like a light tapping in my
lower abdomen. It probably was the baby.
Sometimes it's so light you don't know
it's the baby. It'll feel alot like gas.
I'm 19 wks now. I think thinner women
feel it first, or women with shorter
torsos too.

Does it ever feel like a wave or a ripple?
What I felt didn't feel like gas or
bubbles. It was a strong wave.
